What the Swing Signal does:
We take a look at the Three Major Indexes and the Top stocks within each. BTA is specifically looking at the Dow 30, S&P 100, Nasdaq 100, and the Top Holdings within the biggest ETFs (Funds) in the Stock Market.
Each day we will attempt to determine what is the direction of the immediate Price Swings on each stock within the indexes listed above. This is done at the close of each day (End of Day data). The Swing Signal will be Posted on BTA's Blog between the Market Close and Market Open the next trading day
BTA then calculates what number of stocks are in an Up Swing, Down Swing, or Sideways movement. According to the number, we will give each index a bullish or Bearish percentage
We then give each of the above Indexes a Signal:
Very Bullish
Bullish
Bearish or
Very Bearish
These Signals will attempt to help us stay on the right side of the immediate Price Swings and the intermediate Price Trend.
